How Do I Install an Ink Ribbon

Ink ribbon installation is dependent on the type of printer you have. In general, most ink ribbons are wrapped around a core and come with an additional take up core. As the ink ribbon is used, the ribbon will unwind from it's original core and transfer to the take up core.

Make sure the ribbon is securely placed in the printer and any slack is removed using the wheel, generally adjacent to the primary ink ribbon core. If you would like to review the ink ribbon installation videos for our 3 different printer models, see the links below.
