What about BOPP material?

We get many questions about BOPP (biaxially-oriented polypropylene) material for lube service labels. We do not offer BOPP as a standard sticker product because it is not well suited for the thermal label printers. We know that buying oil change labels online can be overwhelming, and our goal is to make it as simple as possible. While we certainly have the ability to print on BOPP material, offering it as a standard product would create confusion.

BOPP label material is traditionally used in other applications like bottle labels and food packaging. While it's a fine material for those applications, BOPP does not withstand the long-term exposure to UV rays, and will begin to yellow and crack over time.

Many of our competitors offer BOPP because it's easier to produce than static cling or low-tac vinyl. Your customers will certainly know the difference between a real oil change sticker and a BOPP label offered by others.
